Full-time / Part Time Legal Clerk
Working hours: Mon-Fri (9am-5pm)
Job Description:-
- To draft, prepare and fair letters and correspondences
- To maintain and manage proper filing of records
- To fair documents and letters
- To attend to the filing of documents in Court
- To monitor and extract cause papers
- To attend to the service of cause papers and management of dispatch as well as monitoring service of documents
- To support and assist lawyers and partners in the preparation of case and compilation of cause papers
- To conduct searches
- To monitor progress of files and update lawyers/partners
- To manage affirmation of documents
- To perform office routine activities
- To record and keep track of disbursements and file expenses, claims etc.
- To attend to other administrative tasks assigned from time to time
- To attend to other clerical work
- To record and update Court dates
Qualifications:-
- SPM & above
- able to work independently under minimum supervision
- good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Meticulous and attention to details
- strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel & Office as well as PDF editors.
